About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role focuses on outreach to potential clients—startups, SMEs, and mid-market companies—qualifying leads, and supporting the broader sales process.
Compensation: $65,000–$75,000 base + performance incentives
Responsibilities:
Support US revenue goals through lead generation and qualification
Conduct outbound and inbound outreach to prospective customers
Build relationships with key stakeholders at startups and SMEs
Collaborate with Account Executives and marketing to drive pipeline growth
Understand customer pain points and position Civo's solutions effectively
Maintain accurate records in CRM and support reporting needs
Represent Civo at occasional events and conferences in the US
Key Results/Objectives:
Consistently meet lead generation targets within the first 3–6 months
Help generate pipeline to support 10+ new customer wins in first 6 months
Assist in onboarding at least one new channel/reseller partner per quarter
Requirements:
Must be based in the US
0–2 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Interest in cloud technologies and a willingness to learn quickly
Comfortable with outbound outreach (calls, email, social)
Open to occasional travel for events, customer meetings, and team offsites
